Our Mission

The Sisterhood of Temple Beth-El, an inclusive women's group rooted in Reform Judaism, inspires us to leadership and to intellectual, spiritual, and personal growth. Our commitment to Tikkun Olam and building  friendships empowers us to embrace and enrich our membership, our congregation, and our community.

What We Do

The Sisterhood helps build friendships among our members through intentional and empowering programming. This includes our Reading Circle, social outings, and Rosh Chodesh speakers and events. We further this initiative to the wider Temple Beth-El congregation. We help RLYGRS students on their mitzvah projects and send them Torah Scrolls for Consecration, B Mitzvah gifts, Kiddish cups for Confirmation, and Mezuzahs for high school graduation. Our programming also often reaches outside the Temple. We hold the Joanne Forman Film Festival every year, a Women's Community Passover Seder, and more.
